Hello and welcome to the video on flash tutorial. Thetutorial is about how to design a site in flash tutorial. In this tutorial you can learn setting up layers, creating the background and creating the header as well. so don’t miss the video and enjoy.

Whats up guys? Welcome to another real touch flash tutorial. And today I will be starting first of my falsh flash design a website layout series and this series and in this series I will show you how to make a website layout something similar to this ammm it said you can layout in flash and then export all these little images or to dreamweaver and may be build a tiny site with it this is going to be anything professional because ammm ya you know when I using photoshop and well I shouldn’t say that allow you know wondering why I am not using photoshop well not all of us photoshop I think it’s a complicated program and kind of flash so I am just here to help the people like me and think photoshop is complicated and I am gonna show that you can layout a website export the images and then go and put them into the dreamweaver and put on the work.

So here is the oh sorry here is original the original site a file that I made and as you can see I have everything laid out but lets just go ahead and make a brand new document. We will check the size 900 X 900 alright file, new , I will just say Actionscript so that you can use any version of flash it does not matter. This is macromedia pro 8 okay and that’s what I am normally used to so if you take me to see little bit to find out some area ammm in CS5 I apologize but m used to the old macromedia layout. So anyway here we go here is a fresh document and we gonna first start by laying out our layers so you get down here in to timeline layers just like photoshop you are probably used to that. Let’s go ahead and name this first layer background and we are going to add the new one and name it header just like a normal website has header.

Lets go ahead and put the header at the top because that is at the top put the navbar right under that and then we will then put sidebar. Sidebar come on spell it’s good and we’ll put a content page. This are not pages, these are just elements of your layout and then there will be one more which will be your footer and there is our website laid up. So lets go ahead and just click on the background and start ammm editing this so the background I like to add the gradient to my background I think it gives a really nice ammm design and its part of my web design so what we are gonna do is you gonna click on the the square tool or the rectangle tool site. Go over to your color panel and find linear gradient and I am going to make this color actually let’s make this color ya that’s good and lets make this color a lighter grey and we are going to just make a square here and it does not matter where we are going to add the dimensions of this square.

We are going to make sure that square is 900 X 900 so to fix our canvas okay and we have to move our few pixels. Ammm so like2 pixels over and up alright and now we are going to do is go to our gradient transform tool if you don’t see it you probably have free transform just hold down and click the gredient transform and you are going I am going to have to go up and down it doesn’t really matter what you do I am just kind of showing you how about layout a site and may be just to give you overall view of our flash site and alright I am going to make this gradient very subtle and that’s look going to be and may be it will look good more ya its look pretty good alright. So now we have our background image we are going to go down here to layers and lock that image so we can put our other content on it. And lets go appear to the header so you wanna go to click the header on layer.

And here we gonna go back to our rectangle tool and for now lets just make the header no what now I am not gonna do we are going to make the header a radio gradient. I am gonna show you cool little design trick and we are going to make this color very light a very very light grey. I think or that might be the other or we’ll just make this color grey ok that’s looks good and lets go ahead and make the header it’s alright. What you do have to do is go to your gradient tool once again I love this gredient tool that’s for sure. Okay ha ha good one and now what we are gonna do is just gonna have this gredient picking out her. It gives a really nice effect as we are good in picking up the color looks great its good. So when you do 100% ya ammm as you can see in the first one that I did I am doing this brand new ok I will show how did that.

We are going to I will just kind of will show you how is did that I am going copy this ammma this haeder, it looks great. But just see that howyou make a gredient like that we are going to put this in here for time sake I am gonna show you how I made this font. Basically what you do is you just hit the text tool st and just tabulate as you want and select your font I am here to show tools and you can add as many tools as you want. If you want make it look like mine just for your information I added a drop shadow, set the quality to high and I added a glow and I actually want to set that quality high as well. And that’s how I got that effect and as for the other text I just added a drop shadow and set the quality to high. And that’s how I made the header that’s probably gonna be nope nope we got some time we got some time alright we got 7.30 lets go alright so that’s pretty much the header let’s go ahead and start cracking you know what I like I am done for it now we will finish this tutorial right here right now the background and the header done. In the next tutorial we will pick on the navigation bar the side bar. So thanks for watching guys and stay tuned.

Hello and welcome to the video on flash tutorial. In this tutorial you will learn how to create a drop down menu and also how to link them. This is done in Macromedia flash pro 8. The video is really good and it is easy to understand.

:

Ok let’s start; let’s make a drop down menu. And this will be done in macro media flash pro 8. And this is how your drop down menu. And they lied up and you roll up your mouse over them and show you how to link them about only one I have so far. But you will be able to link as much as you like, as you please by the end of this video. Okay let’s start now, here we go. These are just raw artworks, let’s go ahead and oops wrong button, distribute the layers. Now, oh black there for me, ok continue but the caps on, alright first our button lets go ahead and convert that to symbol or hit F8, movie clip. Yes it’s a button, now we and we soon made it in to a movie clip. I will show you that in a minute, what we are doing.

Now think we should drop down little bigger, moving that way because I write like that okay. Oh by the way the description will have as zip file holding this FLA file right here so in case if want to edit it or what not just use it how you want. Now let’s go in to this, in to our button, we wanna make some layers to our drop down, our label and our action scripts. Now just give some breathing room just like that. We are gonna lock that because we are not gonna use that row at least not for now. Now the drop down, just go ahead and make some key frames and look there is the stop action, stop or you just type it in stop. So it won’t be looping all over, you just stop there. Now let’s create our drop down menu, just give it a bit of corner radius, say 5 and just make our drop down ya that’s good. Okay let’s do that; just go to and convert this to, movie clip.

We wanna put that on second frame. Now move our key point up here should know about motions tweens right now well you should and this is copy that here place to place. Now drag it up here great motion tween, so when we do set it up, it will be like this, enter. For a better effect click in between and ease out, so just kind of slowly stop there. Now I put in nut, stop action here, close that. Now since the stop action is here, we will just stop and you won’t go to here. Well what we gonna do is, with our make a new layer, a dummy one. Now what we gonna do is make invisible button with a step, ones you roll over it you will go to and play here. Just make a frame level quick here name it whatever you would like. And you will notice that this arrow comes out. I would strongly recommend you to use the frame levels instead of go to and play 23, 59 and so on.

Because if you make your if you edit it out here lets say, you put movie to play here and then you want it, you want of oops you want it little faster. So you delete this, now frame 12 becomes 8 now see, so it’s just press this frame levels all the time. So let’s continue with our done button, go ahead and covert it to button, double click into it, drag this to the hit area. Now it’s invisible, now if you notice the changed color, you know it had completely different color that’s alright, it’s invisible. See it’s not showing but as you can tell the mouse turning to this finger showing you that there is a movie clip there, I mean the button. Now let’s set it up, actions on roll over, go to and play, now wanna put this in quotes. P1 which is our frame level, now let’s test that out. First just examine it and it is stopped by this stop.

And our dummy button which is invisible, when you roll over this it will go to P1 which is this frame level and it will start playing here and first it will stop at this stop action. Now let’s test it out, alright, its smooth entrance right there, well you don’t go back up, well we have to set that up. Give some more frames, key frame. Now sure you should have also done is this, give this an alpha so this kind of pays in for a nice cool effect. Now it’s not in so cool stop action, now just as you need to go down, you wanted to go up or you wanted to be the exact same as this one right here, so let’s go ahead and copy put that and let us paste in place. Motion tween in so now it goes up and it will ease out, still that ease out. Do you think it will look better if we ease it in, see how that looks. Yeah okay other work, now here we roll over this, it will start playing P1, just put in a screen label, just name it P2. Now how can we possibly put something else to make it go up, well its same thing we will make another dummy button or we will put it outside. So ya we are ticking ahead that’s what we are gonna do, we gonna put when you roll over it, it will play P2. Convert to button; drag it to the hit area button, now.

Hello and welcome to the flash CS4 tutorial. In this tutorial for flash you can learn the copy and paste techniques that are different from the normal copy and paste options. The video also shows the drop and drag techniques. It is very good video on flash.

Now another technique that we can use to speed up our production process would be copy and paste. If you notice we are actually doing the exact same innovation with every single of my photos. So why not save time and soon we can get with the last animation. Now let’s try that with the animation we did for the green neon. I am gonna use copy and paste, but I am not gonna use normal copy and paste. We get started by selecting the entire layer. And I can do easily by clicking on the frame label itself. If I give it a single click you will notice that I have selected all the string spans and the static spans all the way out to the end of the animation.

Next we go up to edit menu and I am not gonna use the normal copy and paste appear at the top because that will only copy the graphics and it will actually copy the graphic where the play head is sitting. And we want much more than that so we are going down here towards this timeline and you will notice we have second set of cut, copy and paste comments. But these ones say frames, so I am gonna choose copy frames here and I copy the entire set of frames. Select it all way here to the end to my clipboard. To use this we need some place to paste it. So let’s make a new layer, I have already got green neon selected now click on this new layer button and we got layer four up here now I am going to rename as soon as we figure which picture we are going to put in here. But right now let’s worry about pasting our frames. When we did our copy we copied all the frames in the layer. We take a look at a new layer we actually already have a frame span here, it starts with the blank key frame and it goes all the way out of the end of the rest of the timeline.

Now that’s way the new layer is gonna work most of the time, it’s gonna automatically add a span there. If you would paste in all three spans that we have copied it’s gonna extend this all the way down. So what I am gonna do is select all the contents in my layer, I can do that again by just clicking on label name. And when we paste we will be replacing that span with the new spans. Now to paste all I have to do I go back up to the edit menu, go back to timeline and choose paste frames. I am gonna do with right click menu just to show you, you can do there as well. Make sure I still have my selection I go over and click my span and there you can see cut, copy and paste in the right click menu and we just choose paste frames.

What I got was an exact duplicate of what we copied normal copy and paste. A high dealed green neon layer, we go up here and move the play head around and you can see we do have that green neon picture and we have the exact animation that we had in the layer below it. It even pasted the name of the original layer up here. Now what we can do about getting another picture to replace this one. Let’s move back to our first motion tween I will drag my play hit back here so its very beginning and I can even click it. That selects the edge so that I can find it on screen and I am also going to click the actual movie clip itself because that gives the movie clip properties in my property panel. What are the options in the property panel, right at the very top is swap. We can actually swap the symbol that we are using with this animation or for this frame span with any other symbol in the library.

That’s little tricky point for us because if I click the swap button, it’s gonna pull up the selection of elements on my library. But it’s only gonna show me movie clips. Now for next photo we haven’t made a movie clip out of it yet. So we have an extra step in order to use this technique. This technique actually works a lot better if you have already created a movie clip, so let’s click cancel. And I need to make our next photo into a movie clip so it’s ready to go. Now I can’t add anything to of any these layers on the screen because they are all motion tween layers. So I need a normal layer to work with I just used my new layer button here and we will get new layer right up to the top. Let’s go in to our library and see what the next photo is going to be.

After green neon we have got the reflection JPEG, now I am just drag this out and point at some place on the stage in the new layer we created. I don’t really care where it is because I am not really placing this on the stage I am just making a movie clip out of it. So let’s make sure we have got a bitmap selected, double click on a bitmap and I am gonna press F8 to create a movie clip. We just rename this one reflection. I will leave all the settings the same while the movie clip and we have got all of our photos registered in the center, so will keep that the same as well. And I will click ok.

Now that we have got our movie clip, it’s been added to the library if we look down to here its there it is right down at the bottom. So as long as it is in the library we don’t really need it on the stage right now. I am just going to get this entire layer completely I select the layer and just hit the trash icon to delete it. Now let’s go back down to our copy of green neon, I will just click down here. I know it’s invisible but we can still select it. And we have got property window back up and now we have that swap button starring at us. Let’s click that and we can go and select our reflection movie clip which we have in a library now. Now click ok.

Now we can even see by the outline that we are looking at the tall picture instead of wide picture. But if you want really preview it, let me just call the play hit little bit here and we will see our reflection pictures comes in. Now we can see a few things about this technique right after that one of them is all of my photos are set out with the registration point in the center. And now we can see that’s actually beneficial for us. As long as my new photos have movie clips created with the registration in the centre, the animation will match exactly no matter what size it is. Now that might make you think next time you are making a movie clip and trying to decide what the registration point should be. So the registration point is going to help you out a little bit more in this case. If I had the registration point up here in the upper left hand corner I can animate the clips fine. But if I try to use this swap this technique it will place the new image at the registration point which will be in this picture would be hanging over here at the corner where the white picture was.

Now we can use the same technique for the static section. Let me just move my play hit towards static picture and there you can see that it’s still the old picture. I swap only worked on one tween or on one frame span at a time. I can still do it here though, if I click on this picture I see the same swap button now click it and choose the same image reflection. And you can see I dropped right on the right spot so my animation looks good up to this point. Now there is another technique similar to swap you can actually just drag and drop but you will see it is little different if we try it out. Let’s move the play head over to our fly out motion tween you can see that still has our green neon sign it. And we could use our swap technique but let’s try our drag and drop here.

To apply the drag and drop technique all I need to do is make sure that I have the tween selected. So I am gonna do that by clicking over here in the tween you can see the span is selected down here. And I can see I have the motion tween properties in the property panel. After this open up my libraries select the item that I wanna be place reflection and I am gonna drag and drop on top of the tween. And we go right up here I will drop, it will ask if I want to replace the exiting target object so it’s basically during the swap and I will click ok. Now I didn’t get the swap but you might have noticed that my picture is in a different position.

Basically to complete the swap copies the motion to the new object but it moves the position of the entire tween to where we drop the object. Now it’s possible you could be really careful and try to drop it right on the top of the old one but it probably will be picture perfect. So you can see that this technique doesn’t work so good when you really trying to match the exact position. I am going to undo this one because I wanna fix this picture up and I wanna go back and use the original swap technique. So when we click away from my library panel, I go to edit and undo and I have to undo the selection that I did as well as undoing add library item to document that will put right back to where it was before. And to pick this up I am going to click on the picture may be that’s my movie clip object and I will just go back to that swap technique we saw before. We choose reflection, click ok and now we got a setup so that our new animation layer is off for the reflection one.

And the last thing I will do to clean this up is I am gonna change the layer name. I don’t wanna get confused of about which picture is where so will double click on green neon and just type in reflection. Now as you can see this copy and paste technique will preserve all your animations. And by swapping the elements out you can have series of motion tweens or frame spans replaced. So it is not a bad technique to know.

Hello and welcome, the tutorial is about Flash. It is very useful for the beginners who are trying to learn flash as the video is about introduction to Flash. Here the tutorial teaches how to use Flash CS4. You can learn different tools and properties in flash CS4. And also how the animation works with flash.

Hello and welcome to introduction to flash tutorial. This tutorial is been created introducing flash CS4. Without used still be up to follow along using flash CS3. If you are using flash CS4 I would recommend to view classic as that is the view I am using and find the tutorial easier to follow. Let’s start by creating a new flash file, so I am gonna go to file, new, first option Flash File ActionScript 3 and press ok. So now go on a blank document, let’s have a quick look at the interface. So, we have got the tools down this side and we go to time line across the top this is where the animation happens. You can see the frame numbers; you can also see the layers. I currently go with one layer; down here we have got a vertical stage. This is where all the content of animation goes. And over here at the moment we have got the properties windows. This allows you to set the properties of the each of the stage or any object you currently go, select it.

If you are using flash CS3, you may find the properties window is down bottom here. In this tutorial we will also be using a library; this is also where all the files are stored. If we click on this button in CS4, you should see the library. If you can’t see the library, you go to window and then library. You can find any missing panels you accidentally lose or move which is very easy to do. By going to windows look for its name and just click on it.

Let’s start by setting the properties for the stage. If I go to properties and click edit, I can change the dimensions of stage. Now so for this animation I want it to be 640 x 426. You can also set the background color for the stages here if you wanted it to, but I don’t need to because I am gonna use a image for the background. Press ok and you see the stage has been made bigger. We also need to set up layers for the animation, if we go with one layer we need to insert more. So I am gonna click on this button three times to insert three more layers, so we have four layers together. And then I am gonna double click on the name to rename it. So the first one is gonna be called background, next one is gonna be called image1, third one is gonna be called image2 and the fourth is gonna be called image3, here we go. So that’s our set up, let’s save it. So call save as, I am just call this flash intro. If you haven’t done so already, you need to download the zip from along with this tutorial which contains the four images that you need.

Okay the first thing I am going do is I am going to import the images into the library so that you can use them. To do this I am gonna go to file, import, import to library. Browse the flash intro folder and highlight the four images, import to library. I think have a look at my library I have got three images and the background. What I want to do I click on the background layer and drag the background image on stage. Now this currently isn’t at the centre on the stage, you could try and place it manually but easy way doing it be click on the image and go to properties and set the X and Y to zero. That will make sure the image starts in the top left hand corner.

At the moment our animation is only one frame long, it need to be 40 frames long. So I am gonna click on frame 40 of the background layer and press F5. This inserts a frame, inserting a frame simply extends your animation. So make a copy of whatever was in the frame before it and extend it. So we had in the background image on frame 1 and it is just extended all the way along to frame 40. Just make a copy of it. You can see it is the same thing going way along one long grey line. The grey means there is something in it and fact of this is one just long line without any division in it means there is only same thing. You can see there is nothing in this because they are white at moment.

Now we are gonna use a different type of frame, called a key frame next. Now this where we want to actually want to make change browsing have things exactly the same. So if I press F6 on frame 10 of image1 layer what that does is insert a key frame, a key frame is where a change happens in the animation. Also want to extend this to the end by pressing F5 again to insert the frame. So have got two distinct areas, the first area is going to remain blank because I don’t want the image to appear there. And then the image is going to first appear in frame 10. if I haven’t inserted the key frame at that point then let me drag the image on to the stage it would fit the whole length of the animation. What we gonna do for the next one is we are gonna insert the key frame using F6 on the frame 20 and then extend it using F5 to frame 40. Image3 is going to stop at frame 30, say F6 and then extend it to 40. So now we got a key frame set up we can click on frame 10 of the image1 layer, point image1 and drag onto the stage.

Don’t worry too much about the position at this point. Now I am gonna click on frame 20 of image2 layer and drag image onto the stage. And finally frame 30 of the image3 layer and drag that onto the stage, here we go. So if I drag play hit beginning and press enter you can see how animation currently plays. Okay the images are now in but I am not quiet happy with there positioning. What I am gonna do is just click on them and use the free transform tool this one, just to set images slightly okay. Just until I am happy with there position. The next thing we are going to do is insert some text to the end of animation. You get the need to extend it because I want it to appear up to frame 40.

So I am gonna click on frame 50 and press F5 to extend each layer. just to make it bit longer. Most I am gonna click on image3 and insert a new layer above it. This layer is gonna be called text and I am gonna click on frame 40 again and press F6 to insert key frame. This is where our text will go. I can then get the text tool and type the text. I am gonna call this Life in Hampstead, as the pictures are of Hampstead. I can highlight the text in the properties windows; I can choose the font, style of the font, the size and color. The alignment can also be chosen down here. To move the text I can then go back to selection tool, the black arrow and just position it. And there we go, if I drag the play hit button at the beginning and press enter and that’s it. I hope you find this tutorial useful.

Hello and welcome, this video is all about Flash CS3/CS4. It describes the basics of Actionscript 3.0 in Flash. The tutorial discusses about how to use while instead of for and shows how it works in Flash CS3/CS4 Action script 3.0.

In this tutorial, I just have we are gonna be discussing how to use a while instead of for. It’s kind of a same thing but ammm it runs while something is true. So, if you would look I have two layers. The first layer I mean the layer one is gonna to hold all of this and the second layer as which is going to be Action script. The layer with the objects has a loop ahead and which is the one bind with the same loop, which is called BTN. And we have all these squares or around clips and this is the raw shape. And we select all the shapes by holding down shift, except raw shape. So don’t click the circle. Then we convert all this to a symbol. It’s gonna be movie clip, we name it boxes and now accept this. Now we have our boxes and now I will make the instance name boxes_mc.

Go to our Action script, the button, the remove button we have the listener, it’s gonna be mouse event, its gonna be click and the name is on click remove. So, the function we defined it and we are not returning anything and so it lets get certain what happens when that button is clicked. Now what we are gonna do is that, we are gonna move all these all at ones. If we do that oops and do that you have to type in, while and then we type in the brackets. So while, whatever is inside here is true, run this, whatever is in these brackets. So what we are gonna do is we are gonna type in boxes_mc and we are gonna type in number, num and children and basically this is telling how many children there is in boxes meaning.

Ammm I want to explain how that works the children in painting but just now it’s time how many children counting how many children are in this, in this middle clip which is six. We want to go back to action script is greater than zero do this whatever is here. So what we are gonna do type in boxes_mc remove child and what this is gonna do is it’s gonna remove all this boxes and I keep going to the layer remember has to be a zoom layer and let’s type in and then we will specify what we wanna remove. And since we don’t have instance ammm what we are gonna do is we are gonna type in getchildAt oops I mean put in boxes and this is getchildren it’s gonna and then we are gonna type in boxes_mc.numchildren minus one.

Then we wanna close this and run this. So, what’s happening here is we made a button, it’s gonna be mouse event you click, unclick your images. Make a function what’s gonna happen when this button is clicked and we have made a while, while this is true boxes_mc is numberchildren meaning how many items are inside this middle clip is greater than zero so it would six is greater than zero, so this is true. While this is true, ammm get the boxes mc, getting this whole thing. And remove the children or just remove one child from the boxes_mc and you are gonna get the child from the boxes number of children. So how many children you wanna remove minus one and so what’s gonna happen is this gonna loop ones. It’s gonna be five instead of six, it’s gonna be five children instead of six.

And, this is still true because five is greater than zero and repeat this over over again until ammm number is greater than zero instead that is happening. And that’s basically a while ammm something that you should know what is while so used for different things. But you learned what it is used for, ones we learn we have one more concept to go over which is children and parents which is gonna be last one before we start.

Hi, welcome to Flash CS3 tutorial. In this tutorial, you will learn how to create three buttons under control. Those three buttons include play, stop and pause button. You can do it easily with the help of out tutorial and using flash.

In this tutorial we are going to be talking about how to create three buttons under control and it sound that you have uploaded to server and I am going to create a play button and a pause button and a stop button. Now, to do all this using a flash file and if you are starting from scratch you wanna make sure you pick flash file Action script 3.2. Now we already have the file that we created in last tutorial called the lever graphics, we are gonna open that up. And you can see here all the information in this file. Now I kind of give a general overview of flash CS3 in the beginning of last tutorial, so we check that out.

Ammm and in this one this tutorial I am gonna show you how to add on to this other buttons. So I am gonna start here by adding a new layer and adding some buttons. So I am gonna call this layer and put at bottom here and I am gonna call this layer buttons and this will help to keep things organized. This layer is going to exist from frame one to frame hundred. And you can see, spans that but that is empty. And I am gonna add this buttons to right now.

Rectangle buttons and I am gonna pick those buttons in blue color. And I am gonna make those basic rectangle size and use the grid lines top me. I turn the grid lines on by going to view, grid and show grid lines, last tutorials. what I am gonna do is I am gonna take this and actually convert it to what flash will consider it but right now it’s not unofficial but. So, the way you gonna do that is the same way you would create a symbol, we created a symbol on last tutorial, we did a graphic in a last tutorial. This tutorial we are gonna make a button, so we wanna go to modify, convert to symbol and it will change this regular shape into a special symbol. Actually, why that’s open in just a second. I am gonna call it BTN, that’s for button in blue and click okay. No need to change or do anything else now you click ok. Now that does, that is converted to the symbol; it is placed in my library called BTN in blue. And over here you can see that it’s kind changed the appearance.

Ahmmm, this button will now function as button but it does not do like anything quiet as yet. And I can drag as many copies as I want, off course I wanna drag three copies here to a stage and its gonna be my play, pause and stop buttons. This the arrows keys and its kind of alignments up here is grid lines. And ones you have your buttons where you need them what we are gonna do is we are gonna add a special name to each of these. Buttons like play, pause and stop. And put the white text on a blue button and say play button, I want it in middle, copy and paste down. Hold it oops call it, pause and click other one stop all right. Now that we have our buttons placed, make grid lines off and now these are buttons, they will function as buttons.
And, amm in fact if I would preview this graphic as best the way that it would be put on the server and played on the internet, notice that the graphics is all ready started to play and the buttons, the buttons functions as buttons whenever my cursor will top with them. It changes the cursor, as we know that this are the functioning buttons, but they don’t do anything by click on. So I am gonna exit out of this and I am going to, now going first I will show you something about buttons.

If you double click on buttons it takes you to this special area, which actually lies at different up, over down and hit different things so you can actually add frames in here regular frame, key frame and you can have those buttons to different things, change color. So, we are not gonna talk too much about that. Now somebody go back to, as you have seen here and we will go in details of functionality, functionality to these buttons.

Here is another great tutorial about how to use flash communal inside a flex project. In order to do this, you need to follow simple steps. By watching our video, you can easily use flash communal. You need to go to main process. Then enjoy this tutorial.

Hello, in this tutorial I am going to teach you how to use our flash communal inside a flex project. To do this, we need to go to main process. First, we need to create a swic library and we need to invoke this library into a flash project. Okay lets start, we first Open up flash and create a Action Script 3 project. In this demo, I am going to use PhotoFlip video. So I open up the components and check in the PhotoFilp video in the library. Then we need to save it into a temporary folder. Now we are going to channelize the SWC library file. We open up the menu publish setting and go to flash session and we can see a here is Export SWC file option here. We take this and click the publish button and the swic library should be channelized. Now we go to our flex builder.

If we open up the Flex builder, we create a new Flex project. If you have your existing project, you just open it. And you may see in the flex project by pressing, we have a library folder you need to chapter SWC file into our library folder. Then first build out. Recognize this is a SWC Library and that we can use our flash communal inside our advertisement. since a flex communal is not a native flash component, we need to have a coordinal to hold a flex communal.

So we add a Caffs SR cardinal we add here by the dimension and give a id here canvas. Now we insert the Script for imparting to a flash component.

We add the script here digicrafts flash controls PhotoflipVideos. This is just a sample if you are seeing other components, the import power may be differs, then we create a private variable to all the instant Photo flip, the types of the PhotoflipVideo and then we create a initialize function which used to create a PhotoFlip instant .

We construct a new PhotoFlip object here and then set the dimensions. As I said before a flash communal is not a native flash component, we need to add inside a component in order to function inside a flex project so we need to so we type in the canvas raw Children and add children to add PhotoFlip instant inside the canvas. After load a XML play list according low, I prepare play list here plus we need to make this in a realization function constraint when the application starts.

So we need to add a property Application Complete here to make defensive core when the application starts. Now we press our movie now you can see a PhotoFlip is inside a Flex project. Ahhh hope you enjoyed this tutorial.

Hi all, this video guides you about how to use masks flash. In this video, you will also learn how to use flash CS4. We have given simple to follow steps for you to understand how to use masks flash. By following our steps, you will quickly learn how to use mask. You do not need to refer any other guide as in this video we have given you all the steps to use the mask.

Hey, this is J J Masker and I’m going to show you a… this is the best of absolved of the series a… on how to use Flash CS4 and the first episode is how to use a mask, right. This is really simple a… right now this is a mask. This is image behind it and this is trying to hide the rest of the image and just a… show that.

And this is a mask. I’m going to teach you both of these things today. First of all we are going to File, View and Flash now actually create a view, oh… I’m sure and then open it. That’s it and then File, Importing an image. I’m just going to use the images given, some pictures a… just do a… too good. You treat us from, just make a bit smaller, move into place. It doesn’t have to, it is as big as the screen as any size and then you don’t, layer one call it Image. Oh, why do you want to call it? That’s going to be the image here and make a new layer and call it Mask. Now a… select the Mask layer, select Alt and get the Oval Tool.

Just make sure it’s not the Oval Primitive Tool; just make sure it’s the Oval Tool. Now you don’t have to do this step, to change the fillings, draw color. I changed it to Green because… I don’t know, just kind of it.

Then just draw circle on something you want to show and that’s it. I’m going to show whole ruby and there. So, right click on Mask layer and so that these options are displayed and select Mask. There, done. a… and now, we’re going to use Classic Tool. I’m going to use Classic tool and in the next episode I’m going to show you how to use it in different cases but in this one it’s really simple. So I’m starting to move in Mask. So now on the Mask layer, click to 30 a… for the Image layer and press F5. And then click to 30 for the Mask layer and press F6.

Now go to the two dots, which represent a key for them and go to the first one, press V and make sure Mask layer is selected and move the Mask where ever you wan to be. I’m going to move in right of him. Now frame of that is going to be here. Right now just slide this so look very good.

Now, right click on this link and then there is an option creating a motion tweens and Classic tween. Just create Classic tween and there. You have done it. So now if you a… look at this again, you can see like this. Press enter and that’s what it looks like.

I think you have pressed… ya… ya… that’s how it looks like. And next episode I will show you how to use Classic Tween, a… in different cases that will have to use it a… at the same time on Wednesday so see you later.
