New Feature in Flash CS3 Pt.3

Now we can see here i have a large number of options what i can save this file as but the only one who is going to maintain and show the action script animation is the quick time format.

So i am gonna save this as bubbels.mov. Now when I click save it opens up this quick time export settings dialog box. So here i can choose the width and height that I want of my quick time file to be. The default is the same as the flash stage. Now, down here i can actually tell it to generate an alpha channel instead of the stage color. So this will be helpful if i want to composite this animation inside after effects you better leave this checked off. Now, under stop exporting if my animation was time line based i could tell it stop when the last file has reached the movie.

But since i only have a single frame here instead one of two is put in a time of how long i want flash to export my animation to the quick time format. So here we can see i can put a time in time code format. I am just gonna put in 20 for 20 seconds. Now under store tempt data i can choose in memory which is recommended for higher frame rates. Or if it’s really a long movie i can choose to store the temporary data on the disk. But for now i am just gonna store in memory and click export.

So now as its exporting that nothing else on your computer is running that will ensure you have a smooth animation at the end. So i am gonna let this record and when this is finish i am gonna take a look at the finish product. Ok so my quick time files have been finished exporting here and if i play it we can see the here’s the bubble animation and it’s been rendered all over a transparent background because we choose to embed alpha channel information. So what i did is i took this animation inside of after effects and i composite it over a Grey readiest background.

So when we look at this so if you look at this i have also added some bubbles to give the effects kind of glow here and i am also changing the background color of the animation. So we can see how this could be a really great way to create motion graphics inside a flash and then in corporate them inside of after effects.
